Founded in 2017, Spartan Cinema’s goal is to produce personal film content, and provide other filmmakers with the tools to create their own.
Our rental philosophy hinges on being informed. The more one knows, the more one can prepare to tackle the inevitable obstacles of filmmaking. Browsing Sharegrid will show you that online rentals come in all shapes and sizes. We design our listings with great care and have spent a lot of effort to create packages that are intuitively put together and allow for customization for specific needs. Please read the listings prior to booking and if you are unsure if the equipment is suitable, please contact us for friendly advice or forward our listing to a member of your camera department.
TERMS YOU WILL BE AGREEING TO:
You are agreeing that you have read our company profile page in full.
You are agreeing that you will return equipment by 11:00am of your return day. If you do not return by 11:00am, but return equipment prior to 2:00pm, you will be charged a lesser half-day rental rate as your late fee.
However, if you still fail to return equipment by 2:00pm, you will instead be charged double the daily rate of your equipment order every day that the equipment is late until it has been returned, seven days a week.
You agree that equipment will be returned in a clean and organized fashion and if returned in any other manner, will be responsible for a MINIMUM $100 cleaning fee.
You agree that you understand our hours of operation, with a Pick-Up Window between 2:00-4:00pm and a Return Window between 9:00-11:00am.
We request that pick-ups and drop-offs be made at our location in Beverly Grove. The address will be provided upon booking. Return equipment before Eleven AM on the return day.
Manage your time wisely so you can return equipment on time. If you are not planning on picking up or dropping off equipment yourself, you must add that person as an authorized user.
Inform your authorized users of our hours. You are responsible for the equipment returning on time so make sure any others you authorize are aware of our pick up and return hours.
EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP BETWEEN 2:00PM AND 4:00PM. We are often available for evening pick-ups after traffic - please let us know upon booking and be on time if scheduling outside of our designated pick-up window.
EQUIPMENT IS DUE BACK BY 11:00AM (ELEVEN AM) on your return day. Late returns are subject to a late fee of double your daily rate until returned.
Cleaning Fees: Equipment returned dirty will be charged a proportional cleaning fee.
Filter and Lens Rentals: You are responsible for inspecting lenses and filters that you rent from us. Our lenses and filters are meticulously cleaned and maintained. We will indicate to you on the filter pouch if there are any known blemishes. Inspect and clean the filters before you return them to us. “We did not use that filter” is NOT an acceptable answer if we find a new mark on any filter returned to us.
Parking: Our location is currently out of a private apartment building on a street that has permit restrictions on one side. Please avoid parking illegally or in our neighbor’s driveways. We understand it’s not an ideal set-up, but we will walk the equipment to your vehicle if you need to park down the street or around the corner, just let us know. We want to be respectful of our neighbors as we find a location more suitable to our customers and the online rental experience.
Please be punctual. If you are running late, send us a text message or call to let us know. Being late affects our ability to schedule and support other renters and projects.
