Sam is fantastic. If you ever need to rent a Steadicam, he definitely is the best option out there for 2 reasons: 1- unmatched price 2- if you are a beginner and new to operating, he provides Steadicam classes. Just from one class, you will end up having a very strong base of knowledge that is invaluable on set. From personal experience, i can tell you that the tips and tricks that sam gives will get you running, the rest is how much time you put in to practice.

Excellent excellent renting experience! Sam went more than just the extra mile to make the renting experience familiar and thoroughly supportive. We rented the dragon and the zephyr together and he talked to me and my DP about our setup, reached out to answer questions regularly, offered to give us a steadicam lesson, and even gave me a free prep day to get some time with the gear before filming! Easily the most personable renting experience I’ve had at sharegrid and I would recommend Sam in a heartbeat! Quality gear from a quality person!
