LAFR is a Los Angeles-based Film Equipment Rentals Company featuring pro-quality, tested, and well-maintained gear. We are here to help you get the gear you need to make your production a success.

Renting Requirements: A valid California drivers license is required In addition to another card with the same name in it. for first-time renters or authorized persons for pickup. No exceptions.

Production Rental Insurance is required. COI or through ShareGrid. Equipment will not be released without insurance. No Exceptions.

Insurance Requirements: You must provide proof of equipment rental insurance if not purchased through ShareGrid. Please send LA Film Rentals issued COI to using our address below to coi@lafilmrentals.com.

We are located at 22537 Schoolcraft Street, West Hills, CA 91307 USA

Operation/Pick up/drop off Hours:

7 Days a Week/ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (pst)

Early Bird or Night Owl Pickup and Drop off is available via our Trailer Lockbox with prior arrangement.

Security and your safety:

Our location is littered with cameras and armed police response. You are safe to travel and do transactions in this location with peace of mind. Our location is well lit and easily accessible for all vehicles and our after-hours lock box is also monitored.

Communication:

Please let us know when you plan to pick up and drop off so we may coordinate appropriately. If you lose or break something, please let us know. We won't be mad, just disappointed. Failure to communicate with us if an issue is not settled after the rental return period has elapsed will be considered abandonment and we move to recovery. If something happens, please let us know, we're more understanding than you think... and remember, you're insured.

Inspection Policy:

All items are inspected before departure and upon return or typically within 3 days for larger rentals. A cleaning fee may apply if the equipment is returned after being used in harsh environments. If equipment requires repair or replacement, an estimate will be furnished to repair or replace the item(s). Please keep in mind of your insurance deductible, as you will be responsible to out of pocket repair or replacement costs if less than your deductible.

Lost, Missing and Damaged Items:

If the item(s) are damaged or not returned, you will be responsible to reimburse for repair or replace the missing item(s). Items, not ours returned by accident: We will do our best to notify you when you return something that doesn't belong to us. We will hold the item in our lost and found for 90 days.

Delivery Options:

We do not offer delivery at this time.

*Stingers (extension cords) are included with all rentals requiring AC power. Choose 25' or 50'.

*Power Blocks ( Outlet Strips ) are also included by request.

**Sand Bags are included with all stand rentals ( Various weights )

Please be advised - We perform social media, imdb, and google references for our background search before approving a rental. - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We do not accept if cards, passports or anything other than a valid California Drivers License. No exceptions.
