Hi. I look forward to assisting you with your gear needs to help make your shoot a success!
Dropoff times are normally 10 a.m.-12 noon and pickup times are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. However, if something comes up and these times don't work, please call or text and let me know. I would do the same for you.
Testing of gear is allowed on pickup.
If I can make your day go more smoothly, please let me know. By renting from me, you also get my expertise as a director of photography, colorist, sound expert, and editor as well. (www.jbcameraproductions.com)
The equipment I own requires a lot of care, maintenance and attention; I hope you give the same care and attention that any owner would.
Please keep camera sensors clean. I have a sensor cleaning kit to rent ($19) to have on standby. Do not leave cables plugged in when packing up. Try to return everything to its original place.
It would be helpful to me if batteries were returned with a full charge.
I would encourage renters wanting to rent large packages to secure annual insurance coverage with a low deductible.
HERE IS ALL MY GEAR. I have three Reds, three Sonys, two Panasonics, a DJI drone and a GoPro. I have a Ronin 2, Movi Pro, Ronin Original and 2 Ronin S gimbals. I have two Ready Rigs with Pro Arms and one Thunder Runner V-Gimbal commander. I have two HMI lights, a 2K, a 5 light kit, 3 light kit, 6 LED panels, some smaller lights. F4, H6 and H4n Sound Mixer, 7 Sennheiser Lavaliers, 2 Sony UWP lavaliers, two Audio Technica Boom Microphones, a handheld mic, two director's monitors, two camera/ac monitors, 3 wireless follow focus units, two handheld rigs, three normal follow focus units, a flag bag kit, several c stands, a color checker, a light meter, a teleprompter and over 80 lenses.
HERE ARE ALL MY LENSES. Manual lenses have all been declicked with gears modded on focus, iris, and zoom rings from Follow Focus Gears with 77mm inner/80mm outer diameter rings from Simmod Lens. Lomos and Rubin lenses were remounted by Jacek of Optitek. Cleanings and maintenance of lenses and Red parts were done by Josh Wilson of CG Productions and Entertainment. Additional declickings of lenses were handled by Joel Swanner and myself.
All the lenses have slightly different colors, flares, distortion, bokeh and sharpness. Jupiter's look historic, Mir's look more modern. Helios is more known for swirly bokeh, so they have a surreal, comic-book style feel. Whereas Zenitars have a progressive and serious feel to them. Lomo lenses have a very good quality for video. Not being too sharp, but very nice looking lenses. Canon FD has a great vintage look that is now able to be remounted in EF for more universal purposes.
I do test videos of all lenses, be sure to follow me in Vimeo and Youtube to see how their results may vary!
