Joe Burke is a Chicago based designer specializing in lighting and projection design for live performance. Since 2005, he has been working in the live entertainment business as a technical, programmer, manager, and designer. As a designer, his work-flow is organic in nature, growing and changing as a facet of the storytelling process. He molds his work to match the desired esthetic of each project working as a open minded collaborator, offering his experience to others and inviting others to influence his artistry. From large productions to small intimate projects each performance has a story to tell.
In addition to designing for live performance, Joe has also consulted on system design and installation as well as animating and creating content for digital signage, and display boards.
