Drew Cobb, the founder of Dronewrx grew up in Hollywood with an multi-Emmy award winning father who worked in television as a cameraman and engineer, and was exposed to ‘the biz’ virtually from birth. With a degree in graphic design and video production, he has an exceptional eye for detail. His experience includes all facets of production: writing, shooting, editing, narrating and music supervision. More recently, a member of IATSE 695, he has provided video playback to TV shows and movies including CSI Las Vegas, Chuck, Parenthood, Intelligence and Scandal. During that time he founded HD Videoworx and ran his own equipment rental house giving him a wide range of knowledge. Ironically it was share grid that steadily diminished small rental houses value. :)

When Drew laid eyes on a multi-rotor he knew he had found the perfect combination of his skills and passion for action photography. He understands you may only get one chance at a shot, and have to be prepared when it happens. Experience and solid nerves make all the difference. Skilled as a motocross racer he has incorporated his motorcycle into the business, giving him ultimate mobility and swift access to remote locations. In addition, he’s able to navigate the crowded highways of So. Cal when getting shots in proper daylight is crucial. He’s also an veteran cameraman with a passion for moving shots with Movi and Ronin experience. He often doubles as a camera man and drone pilot, but his love of talking about himself in the third person is his specialty. :) Drew is a team player and an asset to any production he works on.
