I am a freelance cinematographer and colorist. Majority of my work has been in music videos, tv-episodics, and indie features. Been in love with light since I was a kid. The ability to shape it anyway I want is what I constantly practice whether it is on-set or in the grading lab. My favorite movie is Pulp Fiction in 2006 I watched that movie and it alone for a whole summer. The movie that made me truly understand color is Black Narcissus by Micheal Powell and Emeric Pressburger. The movie that gave me clear understanding of composition, movement, and shooting for the edit is 8 Diagram Pole Fighter by Lau Kar Leung.
Motto: Shooting for the edit, bc at the end of the day what truly grips the audience is the edit.
This is the first time I had to write a bad review for someone on here. I messaged Brandon the night before the return day to confirm drop off time and received no response. I called, texted, and emailed but was ghosted for the entire next day until the next morning, over a day after the return date. At this point, I had already notified sharegrid and my insurance company my gear was stolen/voluntary parted, sharegrid’s site says you have a 24 hour window to do this on the day of the return. I receive a message and call from Brandon at 5:30am a day after the return saying he was caught in a storm in Alabama and did not have cell service and could not call, email, or text but waited until he was back in his house in Georgia to contact me. On top of all this, the gear was left with the producer and I had to wait until 6:30pm to get it back. I’m never renting to this person again.
