Cost is based on the distance from my location in Studio City 91604 to the drop off destination.

If my round trip is 10 miles total for example, you will only be paying for 5 miles one-way based on the pricing below.

First 5 miles: $30

Every additional mile: $5.60

Examples:

10 miles: $58

20 miles: $114

30 miles: $170

Got a rental over $1,000 total and want delivery? Your delivery cost will receive a complimentary 35% discount! Just ask. $1,000 minimum must be before the “community fee” and/or insurance/damage waiver costs. Delivery availability is not guaranteed. Reach out to confirm.

Out of Country (US), Near/Over Water, or Drone Use:

You must present corresponding coverage for these uses in your insurance policy if you plan to use the gear in these situations. Our insurance will not cover you and Sharegrid's temporary insurance via Athos won't cover you either. You must present a third party insurance policy with that specific coverage. By not disclosing this information, you may be subject to being banned from the platform and legal action in the case of loss or damage.

Cleaning Fees and Repair Fees

We know that equipment is meant to be used, which is why basic wear and tear is completely normal and covered in your rental fee. We do a basic cleaning of the equipment between rentals at no additional charge to our renters. On rare occurrences (less than 1%), equipment has been returned in lesser condition than was originally picked up by the renter. In the case that equipment is returned damaged or there is excessive dust, dirt, sand, or moisture in or on the equipment, a cleaning fee will be applied to the rental. We try to be as fair as possible when it comes to these fees.

If we cannot clean or repair the equipment in-house, it will be sent in for professional cleaning with FPS (Fujifilm Professional Services) and the renter will be responsible for the entire cost of those services. We will not hold renters liable for electronic malfunctions, factory defects, or prior wear and tear.

Cancellation Fees:

We understand that not all jobs go the way we'd hoped. If you have to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before. By cancelling the day of your rental pickup, you may be depriving other renters from getting the gear they need and we lose potential income from those lost bookings. Below are the mandatory cancellation fees:

You may cancel for free up to 8pm the day before your rental begins.

After 8pm the day before your rental begins or day-of Cancellations before 12PM: 50% of the rental cost for 1 shoot day.

Day-of Cancellations after 12PM or no show: 100% of the rental cost for 1 shoot day.

Scammers and Thieves PLEASE READ BEFORE "RENTING":

Just don’t. I work closely with several city and state law enforcement as part of my job and have successfully caught “renter” thieves, put them behind bars, met with them face to face in courtrooms, and received restitution payments by said thieves. Grand theft looks bad on your record already. What’s the point if you’re not going to successfully get away with it? All equipment is tracked via serial number and even if it’s pawned off, it will be tracked back to the thief every time.
