The Ecoflow Delta 1300 can replace a lighting generator on shorter jobs, or can power a PA system or laptop all day. It has an inverter that can power devices up to 1,800W of current draw, and an internal battery with a runtime capacity of 1,300 Wh, and an optional external pack can extend the life by another 900 Wh at 400W draw.
To calculate runtime for your specific device, divide 1300 by the number of watts your device requires. For example, a 100W light would run for about 13 hours, or a 1000W light would run for about 1.3 hours.
The optional custom-built extender pack (+$25) can charge/power the unit an additional 900 Wh of capacity (~2200 Wh total internal + external), however it can only charge the main pack at 400W. For example, you can run a 400W device for 5.5 hours total. Or, by starting with the pack pugged in, a 1000W device for 2 hours (400W comes from the external, 600W comes from the internal).
It can charge from an AC wall outlet at 1000W, so it's fully recharged in less than 90 min.
Please note this device has a moderately loud fan and must be placed away from set if you're recording sound, but it's nowhere near as noisy as a gas generator. Not weather resistant, do not use in rain or near water.
