About
Triana was born and raised in Mexico City. She grew up to be a creative and independent soul learning from both, her mother who excels as an artist and her father, who as a successful business man instilled in her the principles of organization and perseverance.
During High school, she developed a passion for cameras and lights, this lead her to her first job as a Photographer for Secretaria de Turismo Mexico. Before choosing a major, Triana decided to intern for Ideomanos, a Marketing company, where she built and launched the image of Crull Fitness Club in Mexico City.
In 2011, she decided to pursue her Bachelor in Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA. Leaving family and friends behind, Triana embarked a journey that would teach her much more than Filmmaking.
Collaborating in many Student films and studying, Triana still found time to emerge herself in independent productions to have a well-rounded education. In 2012, she worked on Zero Hour, written by Guillermo Arriaga. and it was there where she would meet Writer/Producer Adrian Zurita, who instantly became her mentor. She would later Assist Director Guillermo Arriaga on Broken Night where she had the opportunity to work with Janusz Kaminski.
During the second semester of 2013, Triana interned for Automatic Entertainment as an Junior Sales Agent and Executive Assistant. She worked the American Film Market with the company.
In 2014, Triana worked as the 1st AD for an Independent Sci-Fi Feature titled Lights produced by U got it pictures.
She currently works as a Sales Coordinator and Creative Executive at Red Sea Media.
