Patrick was about as unprofessional as they come unfortunately. I was really looking forward to using ShareGrid for the first time to a rent a picture vehicle for cheap. To me, ShareGrid represents a community of indie filmmakers who have each others backs and want to help one another out. This was not my experience with Patrick. Instead, Patrick's rental price ballooned from $71.20/day to $160/day. On top of that, Patrick added a $150 "technician" fee for him to be on set for the 5 hours we needed the vehicle. On his way to set, Patrick added a charge of $.75/mile for the vehicle. Once on set, Patrick made assumptions about the overall budget of our film and demanded a meal even though he was there for less than 6 hours. Most of the time I was trying to get Patrick's attention, he was making small talk with crew members about future gigs instead of being focused on the job he was hired to do. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and I walked away feeling cheated but luckily we were able to get the shots we needed.
