I am driven to strike a spark in media, whether its to motivate, inspire or entertain. Satisfied only after collaborating in the means of quality, innovative work. My background began in 2005 with commercial and broadcast production in Denver, CO with two esteemed mentors. Traveling the U.S. for many jobs, I acquired the skills to execute large and small scale productions. My first memorable gig was Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers "Running Down a Dream," a documentary directed by Peter Bogdonavich. With two and a half years of a steady schedule, I was focused on making narrative, cinematic work.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2008, I began working as Director of Photography with up and coming directors, shooting music videos. I expanded my skill set as working up through G&E and as Gaffer, learning more about each lighting and shaping tool as well as safe power distribution and generators.
My work has been enriching by work with good, honest people. Projects have ranged from branded content, movie and television digital and broadcast promos to multi-camera, cinematic quality live productions. I enjoy the constant demand and flow of onset life. Almost all my friends are artists and crew members.
