Born in Sao Paulo Brazil, Dennis is a Director of Photography based in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute. His AFI thesis film Evelyn, released in 2015, was shot in 35mm film supported by Kodak and Panavision. For more than a decade, Dennis has been working in collaboration with independent filmmakers and producers, including shooting TV series for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and other networks. From drama and thriller genres, to comedy, horror and action films, Dennis is a versatile cinematographer who can visually convey any story in any genre. His goal as a DP is to bring life to a story and to impact the audience’s experience in some way. More than anything, he truly believes in collaboration to create a great story.
