The Zoom H4n has two mics on top and runs on two AA batteries. The inputs can be switched, it'll run phantom power and I recommend setting it to at least 48khz and 24 bit. Other than that it is a very basic mixer that will give you excellent sound quality.

I also recommend using AC power when you can, and turning off phantom power when not using it to save battery life.
