I'm gonna give thumbs up so I don't jack up his average, since I'm hoping I just caught him on a bad day. Apparently I'm the only one. This was one of the most disrespectful and frustrating phone conversations I've ever had. The artist in the music video and a few friends were in the room with me listening to the call and their jaws dropped. After accepting the rental and him not responding to messages to meet, I called 9am the morning of our shoot and he sounded half-asleep, and was playing word games with me (I accidentally referred to him by his middle name, and he played dumb like he had no clue what I was calling about until I corrected myself), then told me the gear was in Pomona and he had to go get it. Why is this my problem? He accepted it days ago. I was like yeah man, can you deliver it now since you're really putting us out here with the late response? And he said "well do you want it or not, I'll cancel it if this is gonna be a problem." Once he finally showed up his tune changed. Never had so much instant and unjustified attitude from a stranger trying to give my business to. Honestly, I WILL rent from him again, because it seems like this is an exceptional situation based on other reviews, everyone has a bad day, I get it. But this is what reviews are for. The gear worked great and he was flexible on the return.
