Using a 256GB card will buy you one hour 44 minutes at 8:1 compression 24 frames per second in 4K which is what I usually shoot in. If you want, you can raise the compression and get double the time length at 16:1. I would only caution this for high contrast and composite scenes. You want low compression for those types of scenes. For all other scenes, you should be fine.
