I use this light as an excellent source of fill for most if not all of my scenes. A similar source of light would be an HMI

The big differences between the 2K fresnel and the HMI is that the 2K is orange light, the HMI is blue. Both can be gelled but they both lose light when you do so, but also the 2K fresnel can be dimmed. The dimmer can be viewed here: (
