It was 1999. Preston was 8 years old. His mom was out of town which meant one thing: Boys night. His father popped in a VHS tape, saying it was a "movie about a shark". Preston then spent the next two hours hiding under the couch cushions, scared to his bones and loving every minute of it. Experiencing Jaws for the first time, Preston knew what he wanted to do with his life: Tell stories and make people feel something powerful.
Now, almost 15 years later, Preston has already directed 8 different projects, including independent short films and a commercial for the NC Film Commission. In May of 2014, he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he was one of ten students in the competitive film directing program. Currently he studies Directing at the Harold Ramis Film School at the Second City. Though he spent the majority of his life living in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina, he now resides in Chicago Il and Los Angeles where he continues to pursue those dreams that started with an old VHS tape and a pile of couch cushions.

Preston is a great renter - everything went super smooth!
Great renter. Easy to communicate with, and returned the camera in the same condition I rented it to him in.
