How to Shoot 4K on the GH5
The Panasonic GH5 is the smallest camera to date that shoots 4K in 10-bit color, and at up to 60fps to boot. Accessing these features is a very simple process.
1 - Open the Camera Menu
Press the button directly in the center of the D-pad on the back of the camera to open the menu system.
2 - Open the Frame Rate/ Resolution settings
In the first menu tab, scroll down to frame rate/resolution. Here you will find dozens of combinations of bit rates, frame rates, and resolutions. Highlight one, and you will see that in the info panel to the left there are special notes alerting you to special features such as VFR (variable frame rate) that are enabled with that particular shooting mode.
